They removed the ventilator tube from my mother and her breathing was very out of sync until her lungs began building up strength again. She is finally able to speak some and she is breathing on her own again. Unfortunately the doctors say she isn't out of the woods yet and that her liver is only barely functioning :(

- I had lapband surgery on 4/23/08. At the time of the surgery I weighed 291 pounds! Yes, I said it 291 pounds... Thats the equivalent of 2 females. I can't believe I ever let myself go like that. I was unhappy with myself. My life was awesome and everything was going great. Now everything about me is happy and I am happy with myself :) After having issues with my band slipping twice I revised to the RNY on 7/12/2011 :)

Brandy, you and your mom are in my prayers... She's obviously made some improvements. Just keeping praying and hoping for good things.
