When I made this I used a diet lemon/lime soda. The recipe below is the virgin version of this. I lowered the amount of soda and substituted some rum in it :) Just mix it up and have fun.
Ingredients
2 cups seedless watermelon, cut into cubes
1/2 cup ice cubes
2 cups lemon-lime flavored soda, divided
1 lime, cut into wedges
Directions
Place the watermelon and ice cubes in a blender and blend until liquefied. (Once you add the lemon-lime soda, it will thin out even more, add more ice cubes if you want it slushier.) Slowly add 1/2 of the lemon-lime soda and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, garnish with limes and serve.

Yummo!! When you blen the soda, does most the carbination leave the drink?? I'm gonna try this one.
When I made it there was still a slight fizz to it... But I was able to drink it. For the bandsters they could let the soda sit out for a bit before making the drink.
Looks like i am going to have another hobby after my appointment with Phoenix lap band surgeons this coming week. Thanks for the I=ingredients Brandy! Like how you call it. "Watermelon Spritzer"
Both versions are good, the virgin and the non virgin, of course I liked better the drink with alcohol.
